Incident Manager Role

Incident Manager controls the flow of incidents through the process with the aim that these will be resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible without disturbing the rest of the IT environment.

The responsibility to resolve incidents is on the service desk and service desk analyts, technicians or developers. Incident Manager is a managerial and acts as the first level of escalation process.
